Kids First mural

This room was awash in a joyless coat of beige paint and a scattering of disorganized toys. Kids that may have experienced a trauma or tragic event would wait here to tell their story. Blue Moose Graphics brought in bright colors and timeless graphics to create a space where kids could be kids, with a few moments of normalcy. Now with a chalkboard painted dutch door and positive graphics, this is a joyful, relaxing space for kids in the years to come.

This was designed and installed by Blue Moose Graphics. The cost of creating a printed wall graphic using vinyl wall paper material was going to be cost-prohibitive. Simply designing and painting a mural directly to the wall was the best solution for durability and cost. Working with dedicated volunteers over one weekend, we were able to transform this bland little room into a fun and joyful space. Eugene, OR
